Paula Duncan
Paula Duncan has over two decades of serving Florida’s small and minority business community. Since joining the Florida Black Business Investment Board in 1990, she has served the Board in a number of capacities including Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, Program Development Officer, and Business Development Manager. In June 2008 she was appointed Vice President of Program Development. Among other duties in this capacity, her primary responsibilities include planning, organizing, coordinating, and overseeing the organization’s programs delivering financing, educational and technical assistance to black business owners and entrepreneurs throughout the State of Florida. Prior to joining the FBBIB, she also worked for the State of Florida Department of Commerce’s Small and Minority Business Advocacy Office. In her two decades of service Paula has gained invaluable knowledge of Florida’s economic development programs and continues to expand her knowledge through her involvement with the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, the Capital City Chamber of Commerce, and the Florida Department of Management Services’ Office of Supplier Diversity Work Group. Paula attended the University of Southern Mississippi before earning her BS degree at Florida A&M University, Magna Cum Laude. |
