During the 2011 Regular Legislative Session the Florida Legislature passed SB2156 which among other things called for a merger between the Florida Black Business Investment Board, Inc. and Enterprise Florida, Inc. A new division has been created within Enterprise Florida Inc. related to Minority Business Development. On June 14, 2011, Governor Rick Scott signed SB2156 into law and we are in the process of implementing the requirements of the law.
